Brisbane spends a lot of time being helpful but goofy. When he and Kimberly work together, he's surprisingly competent. I was going for "standing in the background, has everything ready for her as soon as she realizes she needs it". Unfortunately, this is the best situation I could come up with - Terrence

Modern Commentary
"Please save your questions until the end" is...I dunno, too light-hearted. Kimberly enjoys talking down to her mother who has very much earned it.

But of course Brisbane did this because he anticipated that Kimberly would need it. One of the things that I wish I had done more with is that he's actually really good at this whole administrative assistant thing, especially when he's assisting Kimberly. - Terrence
