Original Commentary
Yep. The help that Kimberly called in. If these comics didn't go up all at once, this would be one of those minor page-turning "What's going to happen next?" kind of moments. Not a major one, of course. It's just Brisbane and Robert bringing lunch - Terrence Modern Commentary
I kinda wish we had explicitly said that Kimberly called in Brisbane. Otherwise, it's a bit weird that he shows up right then with lunch
And that Brisbane has lunch with those guys rather than his new wife. I assume that she's very busy with that Hessian Pharmacies account

Original Commentary
Originally, the line in the last panel was "It's just that we look like doofs when we try to look unique." While true, I thought that it took the wind out of the next two comics; it looked like we were telling the same joke three times in a row. I think this works better - Terrence Modern Commentary
If you're asking "How can I, the reader, tell Richard and Sinclair apart?", well, you can't. They're drawn identically. You can keep track of shirt colors after we specify which one is which, but there's no hidden tell.
Or if there is, Isabel hasn't told me either

Original Commentary
Original script:
S- It's not like I didn't try to look different... I've tried different hair and outfit styles... but nothing really worked for me.
---
R- Your style was certainly "different" that's for sure... I think the only style you didn't attempt to rock was a bouffant-
unless you count that one Halloween...
B- Just how many different styles did you go though, Sinclair?
---
(Richard is taking out his wallet with a pop out of photos)
R- This is only some of the best of the early 80's and late 90's, but it should give you an idea of what I had to live with.
S- You mean to tell me you keep those on you, Richard?!
R- I never know when I'll need them. - Terrence Modern Commentary
Yeah, the existing script is an improvement over the original. Still, more of a lead-in than anything else. But sometimes the best thing today's comic can do is get you to tomorrow' comic

Original Commentary
Isabel wrote the arc. I wrote this script. When I started it, Sinclair was talking to Kimberly in her office (and in this comic). By the time I finished, the comic had moved on, so the basic idea got repurposed. The basic concepts are: new wave, hair metal, and MC Hammer - Terrence Modern Commentary
If we did this nowadays, the pictures would have been on his phone instead of in his wallet. But used to be, folks would keep little photos of their families in their wallets. Wallet-sized photos were a legitimate thing.
Back then, you could have photos on your phone - the iPhone was almost a year old at this point - but these two are former vaudeville guys; they're not into cutting-edge tech - Terrence

Original Commentary
Yes, there was patter between the songs. And no, Brisbane can't exactly define the difference either. If he could, then anyone could tell Richard and Sinclair apart - Terrence Modern Commentary
Because Brisbane pays attention to people. That's his secret.
