 Monday, February 4th 2008 - [1066] Sofia's many talents (13 of 24)
Original Commentary
Oh, poor Dr. Paul... you try so hard to be professional, only to have your better judgment turned over for a girl like Sofia...
Of course, it could have been a lot worse... you could have apologized for everything that happened on your last date. XO -Isabel
Modern Commentary
Over on NamirDeiter.net, our donor-only bonus content site, there was a 12-comic storyline about the aftermath of Sofia's date with Dr. Paul.
If you don't have a membership, that link won't work for you; sorry.

Original Commentary
The receptionist/ nurse (we've only really seen her as a receptionist, but in all my notes I have her down as a nurse) was supposed to have shown up in yesterday's comic as well. Actually, Sofia's line in panel three of yesterday's comic was supposed to have been her line. But, like in the case of Joy and Tipper a few comic's back, by the time I realized I made the boo-boo, it would just be easier to change things around than to completely redraw it. So now she pops up from out of nowhere and into today's comic to take away the big blue bitey thing. -Isabel
Modern Commentary
Why does Brent get a free makeover?
Well, Sofia has been regularly volunteering at the shelter that Dr. Paul is affiliated with. They're going to be a bit nicer to her and take care of her pets.
But mainly I think the grooming room is close enough that they might overhear Sofia and Paul's conversation

Original Commentary
There was no way this subject was not going to come up with these two... I'm sure Sofia has just been waiting for an opportunity to throw that in his face.
I'm sure there are quite a few (mmmm, ok, two or three) non- .net people reading this arc going "...Buh?" Sorry web-only members, I love ya, but sometimes really big perks need to be handed out to the people who deserve them. Just imagine if I had made that Sofia and Paul arc a one month only story like I had intended. Oh, that would have been very scary... D: D: -Isabel
Modern Commentary
I'm kinda proud of Sofia for that.
This probably felt better than actually sleeping with Caleb.

 Thursday, February 7th 2008 - [1069] Sofia's many talents (16 of 24)
Original Commentary
Sofia doesn't strike me as the logical type... or the patient type... or the type that would pass up on a good argument. Not a good combination for poor old Dr. Paul, it seems. -Isabel
Modern Commentary
Dr. Paul is probably ten or fifteen years older than Sofia. They're at different stages of their life. They really aren't romantically compatible.
As I've said a few times, if Joy were dating Dr. Paul and Sofia were dating Dr. Fitzgerald, it would've worked out better for everybody involved- Terrence
 Friday, February 8th 2008 - [1070] Sofia's many talents (17 of 24)
Original Commentary
Blue said something similar to Joy (about being too nice to say what you think of someone). Not saying that Dr. Paul is like Joy, but there are some similarities between her relationship with Blue and his relationship with Sofia. Not that many, but enough. Dr. Paul is referring both to her advances to him and her sleeping with Caleb, both of which are hitting him pretty hard right about now - Isabel
Modern Commentary
That's not dissimilar to how Brisbane felt about sleeping with Kimberly. Except in Dr. Paul's case, it was on a second date rather than after several months of cohabitation

 Sunday, February 10th 2008 - [1071] Sofia's many talents (18 of 24)
Original Commentary
It does make you wonder if Sofia really didn't want to talk to Paul... I'm sure she was on the fence about it, but would not have been the one to say it first (sorry for the pun). -Isabel Modern Commentary
That's Dr. Paul for you.
Bad romantic partner. Good veterinarian.
