We've been talking about adding old Dr. Marvello into this arc since the very beginning, before any part of the script was written. We knew what part in all this he would play, but we didn't quite know where. We had originally planned on having Dr.M show up in this comic, but decided against it. -Isabel

The most surprising thing about all this is that Dr. Marvello actually has a real doctorate.
