Brisbane
Kimberly
Lunch

Original Commentary

In the orignal outline, "they order lunch" lasted about four comics. It didn't accomplish much, lasted too long, and wasn't all that amusing. Anyhow, this was a reference to this comic, in which it is revealed that Brisbane has no idea how to expense lunch. He still doesn't. In the original draft, Patrick ordered lunch for himself, just as a counterpoint to Brisbane - Terrence

Modern Commentary
Kimberly really ought to have a company card, as head of sales and marketing. The company should be covering travel, lunches with clients, and a variety of other things.

She doesn't and ends up paying for things out of pocket that she really shouldn't. Everybody on the sales team who knew how expense accounts work got fired. Nobody told Richard or Sinclair how to expense things (or if they did, they weren't listening), and they told Kimberly that this was just How Things Were.

Ms. Taylor has not been motivated to fix this situation. - Terrence
