Monday, November 26th 2007 - [1019] Emily, Richard, and/or Sinclair (1 of 5)
Emily
Kimberly
Work
Break up
Cry
Worry

Original Commentary

When we last left Emily, she was feeling all high-and-mighty because she knew something about Jane's past that Jane didn't. Now her and her boyfriend, David, are on the way out. Looks like she should've paid more attention to her own relationships - Isabel

Modern Commentary
Kimberly has forgotten David.

Really, I can't blame her.

He shows up a few more times but there's not much for him to do - Terrence

Tuesday, November 27th 2007 - [1020] Emily, Richard, and/or Sinclair (2 of 5)
Emily
Kimberly
Cry
Break up
hug

Original Commentary

Emily kind of trusted David, and I use trust here loosely. I get the feeling Emily always saw David as beneath her (waits a few seconds for any off-handed jokes to be though) in both age and class... which was probably why she didn't see this coming. Why oh why did it not last, considering she thought he was so undeserving of her good looks, we may never know why it lasted as long as it did. -Isabel

Modern Commentary
The first panel is, of course, a call back to last month's comic where Sofia said pretty much the same thing to Emily. - Terrence

Wednesday, November 28th 2007 - [1021] Emily, Richard, and/or Sinclair (3 of 5)
Emily
Kimberly
Richard
Break Room
Sudden Attitude Change
FLEE!
RUN!

Original Commentary

You know... for all the things bad about Emily- there is one great thing about her: she can bounce back faster than a rubber ball.

And yes, that is the soda machine from the mini-golf YSIF comic... I've gotten quite a bit of mileage out of it -Isabel

Modern Commentary
Officially, Kimberly is in charge of the department. Patrick officially reports to Kimberly but he also unofficially reports directly to Ms. Taylor, which also counts for something. - Terrence

Thursday, November 29th 2007 - [1022] Emily, Richard, and/or Sinclair (4 of 5)
Emily
Kimberly
Richard
Cry
Evil Plan
Tough Cookies

Original Commentary

I reworked panel 3 and panel 2 a little... just making Richard and Kimberly more snide. And Emily just a little more focused. The originals were just more boring versions of what's up now, so I won't bother posting them.

Kimberly's first line in the third panel was originally supposed to show up in panel two, but it just did not fit, so I gave up trying to fit it in there. -Isabel

Modern Commentary
Richard and Sinclair are drawn identically. If you can't tell them apart either, it's not just you. - Terrence

Friday, November 30th 2007 - [1023] Emily, Richard, and/or Sinclair (5 of 5)
Kimberly
Richard
Sinclair
Worry

Original Commentary

You know how we said Richard and Sinclair weren't fraternal twins yesterday? Apparently, Isabel and I had a misunderstanding. They are fraternal twins. Just not identical. Yesterday's comics has been changed accordingly. Anyhow, did we ever show Sinclair and Emily interacting in Unlike Minerva? No, I don't think we did. It was just one of those things that happened while Brisbane and Kimberly were off doing something else - Terrence

Modern Commentary
Emily can't tell Richard and Sinclair apart. She barely knows them. If her momentary infatuation were focused on Sinclair, that would make everybody's life a little easier.

Except Sinclair. It would probably make his life more difficult, but he's volunteering for it. - Terrence
