It's the first day of an arc. I'm not going to give much away. But Isabel asked me what this arc should be called. I said "That's a good question". And it seemed appropriate for the arc title - Terrence

I have no idea who Phil is and I'm pretty sure he's never seen nor mentioned again. - Terrence

Another wordy comic.. sorry. This whole "three day a week" arcs are kind of hard when I want to get things done with a certain pace... this could have been done in two comics, but I think this works out.

I've actually been planning on doing this arc for the past... oh, I don't know... half year or so now. Things kept coming up that had to be done first, so it was put off... until now, of course.

This comic was one of the first ones that popped into my head when I started thinking about this arc, so it's been with me for a while and mentally rewritten quite a few times.

In the last panel, Brisbane is making reference to the way he was convinced (back in the Unlike Minerva days) Kimberly was plotting some big plan to steal his money. Years later... I talked to Terrence about this plot point and asked him just how much Brisbane really had on him. He said, "200... 300... not much, really.". So here it is and there it goes. Way to hold on to your wallet, buddy. -Isabel

Modern Commentary
Even back then, it wasn't a lot of money. You don't want to get $300 swindled from you but for a dude with no living expenses it would not have been life-ruining.

It's the principle of the matter, though. - Terrence

Welcome to comic 800. I had honestly not planned this as comic 800, I had not even thought of it (actually, I was a bit annoyed that this was comic 800 and not the end of this arc, but this works as well).

I'm not sure what else to say about this comic... it was a long time coming. Although even like that, it still came to Kimberly by surprise. -Isabel

Modern Commentary
Congratulations to Brisbane for not overthinking this and trying to build up a perfect day.

He could have done a little more. But the important thing is that he did it.- Terrence
