Poor Sandra... looks like she is out of a job, even though it was the plan that she would only be a temp, I can't help but miss her. Did she finish the catalogue in time? Is Patrick going to have to go to his father's birthday party? those are all questions for another day... -Isabel

Another repurposed strip. I had originally planned on having Jane instead of Sandra as the temp. The first panel-and-a-half was originally written with the two of them. Then there was much shuffling of feet and avoiding of eye contact as Kimberly realized she left her friend without a job. This is a bit less of a downer ending - Terrence

Modern Commentary
Sandra is embarassed about asking Kimberly to lie for her. Patrick is considerably less innocent and would be shameless.

I wonder if Sandra ever got paid. Honestly, probably not. Fortunately, she doesn't really need the money. - Terrence
