Original Commentary
Another comic I completely screwed up on- although this one wasn't as big of a deal; Miz Taylor was supposed to have been walking in at that moment behind the two. Although I do love panel three... that makes it all worth it. Poor Terrence, one of the few times he gives me directions, two comics in a row even, and I didn't read them properly. Poor guy. -Isabel

Modern Commentary
Firstly, yes, the first panel probably took a little inspiration from the recurring phrase "the world is quiet here" in A Series of Unfortunate Events.

Secondly, the script I have says "[The door opens. Ms. Taylor is there]" for the second panel. Did I write something else initially then change the directions to match the art? If so, why? It's already been drawn. No further instructions are needed.

Thirdly, I'm sure for the first few days Kimberly and Brisbane were sure to put everything back neatly but after a week or two, they're leaving their stuff out because they expect to be doing the same thing tomorrow.

Fourthly, I don't keep count, but this is one of the very few times that Kimberly calls her "Mom" rather than "Mother" - Terrence

Well, at the least the guy is consistant. - Isabel

I hadn't even thought of that. Yesterday's comic was a reference to the first half of the linked comic - Terrence

Modern Commentary
I'm not going to go back and work out the timeline. If there's ten workdays of stuff in that nine days that Ms. Taylor was missing, then there's ten days. - Terrence

Original Commentary
Panel three is actually a semi-brand new background. I had the scene from the door to Brisbane's mini office down, but not with the door open and into the gray hallway. So I remade a small version of the hallway (had to make it again completely since that gray background was only made in the one perspective it is shown from. -Isabel

Modern Commentary
Yeah, Kimberly has abandonment issues concerning her parents. Can't say I blame her. - Terrence

Original Commentary
In the original outline, Sandra/Jane wasn't going to get paid by the company, because they couldn't convince HR that they had the authority to hire people. So Brisbane and Kimberly paid her out of their own pocket. Then I realized that Ms. Taylor would be missing for two weeks, in-comic time, which is just long enough to realize that there's a problem with payroll on the last day. Why do I mention this now? Because I've got nothing for this specific comic - Terrence

Modern Commentary
Who would Kimberly tell? Brisbane? Her mom? Patrick? - Terrence

Yeah, the original commentary got duplicated. No idea what it was going to say originally. Sorry - Terrence
