Original Commentary
Modern Commentary Robert sure does. I'm sure part of it is that he sees his friends getting married and worries that he's being left behind - Terrence ![]() Tuesday, March 25th 2008 - [1109] Brisbane and Kimberly tie one on (20 of 24)
Original Commentary Modern Commentary The original script basically had Ms Taylor introducing potential clients to Brisbane and Kimberly, and thus counting the wedding as a tax-deductible business expense. I like this version better - Terrence ![]() Wednesday, March 26th 2008 - [1110] Brisbane and Kimberly tie one on (21 of 24)
Original Commentary Poor Sofia seems to have spent the entire reception on Emily Watch... not that she would have had any fun anyway... not counting Patrick, of course. -Isabel
Modern Commentary Neither. She just knows that if Emily marries into the family, they'll never be rid of her And that's the last we'll see of him. We had talked about bringing him back but never found the right storyline for it. I know Isabel had a few pitches for him, and I think I did also. In the distant future of Nicole and Derek he's still alive. Nicole has met him a few times, but he's not a regular presence in her life. - Terrence ![]() Thursday, March 27th 2008 - [1111] Brisbane and Kimberly tie one on (22 of 24)
Original Commentary Modern Commentary That's why Jane isn't at the front of the pack - Terrence ![]() Friday, March 28th 2008 - [1112] Brisbane and Kimberly tie one on (23 of 24)
Original Commentary Really glad I didn't cut this comic, Veronica had been mentioned before on .net, then the web comics, but this is her first appearance. I accidentally gave her Jacinda's lips, although she should not have had them. Force of habit. -Isabel
Modern Commentary Just as well. If she had, Emily would have had some follow-up questions. For Sofia... - Terrence ![]() Sunday, March 30th 2008 - [1113] Brisbane and Kimberly tie one on (24 of 24)
Original Commentary Technically, Kimberly's last name is now Taylor-Adams, but saying "Mrs. Taylor-Adams" didn't sound very romantic to me at the time, and still kind of doesn't. So, Brisbane took the romantic side. When doing arcs based on events that a lot of people have gone through, including myself, it's difficult for there to not be autobiographical moments. I ended up almost passing out myself, and pretty much felt like these two did after it was all said and done. I'd say I haven't felt that way since, but I actually had that same "all the blood in my body has left my head, making it feel ice cold and me wanting to lay down and/or throw up" feeling the day this comic (was supposed to have) aired. Or maybe the one before it. Either way. Weddings are always emotionally stressful ordeals and this one was no exception. Everyone involved is very glad to have this one done and over (and thankful we will never have to do it again ^_^). -Isabel Modern Commentary |
