When I was drawing it, I was going to have Sofia actually fixing the sandwich in panel one, but my mind came to a complete blank when it came to "making sandwich". It's scary when you can't picture someone making a sandwich. Makes me feel like I'm losing my mind. But I think it's just that I'm not a fan of sandwiches - Isabel

Modern Commentary
You might say "Isn't Sofia a cook? Shouldn't the dishwasher handle that?"
They don't have a specific person hired as a dishwasher. Whoever the boss feels like putting on dish duty is the dishwasher and Sofia drew the short straw today.

Anyhow, it's a cold open. Things could go anywhere from here, but how much do you want to bet that Sofia isn't going to have an only-care-about-myself weekend like she hopes - Terrence
