At least they measured the space beforehand. I know I've made that mistake.
Twin beds are a bit larger than three feet by six feet.
I don't know why they call them "twin" beds if they barely fit one person. - Terrence

He should've suggested it *before* they went bed shopping

Modern Commentary
He might have actually meant bunk beds. I'm not sure he had a proper plan; we know that he didn't mean sleeping in the same bed, at least not at this point in their relationship.
He might not know how much free space is in her bedroom. She doesn't have much stuff and they could maybe fit two small beds.
What amazes me is that Kimberly does not at any point suggest that Brisbane move out. This is her apartment. He just showed up one day and moved in. But she's not going to give up the privacy of having her own bedroom- Terrence

Original Commentary
Brisbane shouldn't be that freaked out, but he is.

Modern Commentary
"Friend who's visiting right now" isn't a bad description. It's flexible and open-ended. Not like either of them are ready to define the relationship further yet.
Lola is older. I want to say 60s or 70s but my notes are not specific on the matter. My point is that she has enough life experience that Brisbane and Kimberly aren't fooling anybody here. - Terrence
