Original Commentary
Certain details? Kimberly didn't know Brisbane was there.

Modern Commentary
If you haven't read Unlike Minerva recently:
Brisbane and Kimberly went out on a kinda-date. They ended up staying out much later than expected. The Minerva Theatre, where Brisbane lived, was locked for the night so he crashed at Kimberly's apartment, sleeping on her couch. During the night, he moved to her bathtub. So in the morning, she went to take a shower, he was there, and might have seen her naked.
That sounds so manga when I write it out, and not in a good way. Might have been influenced by early College Roomies from Hell when Roger gets stuck sleeping in the tub.
But it, perhaps, is an awkward moment they can look back on fondly at some point in the future- Terrence

Brisbane

Modern Commentary
Yep, everything has changed. New patterns must be found. Also, we couldn't come up with any hobbies that really fit Kimberly.
Reading? Watching TV? Playing bridge? They just weren't her. She kinda always has to be "on", always has to be selling.
Discovering who she could be when she lets herself relax is how she grows throughout the comic.- Terrence

Original Commentary
So what is Brisbane good at? Well, he's not good with vaudeville but that never stopped him.

Modern Commentary
And discovering what those qualities are is how he grows throughout the comic. The answer, though, is that he's good with people. He can connect with them, understand what they need, and help them. So he could be pretty funny in a one-on-one conversation but that absolutely does not scale up.

So, how many people worked full-time at the Minerva Theatre and how many of them are looking for entry-level jobs in the immediate area? Some of them, obviously. Richard and Sinclair show up again in a few years. I think Brisbane is just easily discouraged, but he might have seen one or two familiar faces around during his job search.- Terrence
