I'm a huge fan of The Monkees. After the TV series ended, they made a movie, Head. It was a surrealist, counterculture thing. By that I mean it didn't make much sense, but on purpose.
There's a scene where Micky Dolenz, stranded in the midddle of the desert, captured an Italian army tank. I could explain more, but it wouldn't help.
This might have been an influence here, but I'm not sure if I talked Isabel into watching that movie before this comic ran. I'm not sure how I talked her into watching it.

I have to agree with Kimberly. We're currently in a desert. As I write this, it's 106 degrees outside. It's better to be warmed up when you're cold than to just always be warm.
Also, I'm pretty sure this is the first time that Brisbane's middle name has shown up in the comic. He's had it since around when Unlike Minerva began. It never showed up anywhere besides the various notes and planning documents, but I felt it was important that he have one.
Caleb didn't even have a last name; not that it wasn't disclosed. He never had one.
I don't think Kimberly got an official middle name; maybe she doesn't have one. Might have been one in our notes somewhere that never got revealed.- Terrence
